SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Bharosa today announced the release of its 4.0 security software, which includes new security enhancements geared toward the needs of high-traffic, high-volume web sites.

Bharosa 4.0 streamlines installation and usability in ways that are critical for a large-scale consumer deployment, translating Bharosa’s experience with large deployments into technologies that benefit its customers by reducing headaches for both the institution and user.

With Tracker 4.0, a Customer Intelligence add-on is available which harnesses the security data captured by the Tracker system — data on user location, session activity and more — for business uses, such as sales and marketing, thus making the process of sharing valuable data across applications not only possible, but also seamless. Knowledge-Based Authentication (KBA) is also now available in Tracker 4.0 as an integrated, add-on module, leveraging Bharosa’s experience with hundreds of deployments in an easy-to-follow deployment blueprint which allows institutions to configure and implement custom enrollment and challenge procedures within the guidelines of best practices.

“Creating online security applications that are effective and at the same time user-friendly can be quite complex, and other solutions fail to address these nuances,” said Don Bosco Durai, vice president of engineering for Bharosa. “It’s a delicate process, but Bharosa has demonstrated how to add online security measures effectively without alienating users, and we’ve codified that process over years of learning in products that will support the next generation of security applications.”
