Consulting Systems EngineerKatherine McNamara works at Cisco Systems as a Consulting Systems Engineer specializing in security. In the past, she's held security and networking roles at companies such as the Westfield Group, St Joseph's Health System, etc. She holds a Bachelors of Science and Masters of Information Security and Assurance from Western Govenors University. She also holds several industry certifications including the CCIE Data Center #50391, CCNP Route & Switch, CCDP, and CISSP. When she's not working or studying, she also volunteers as a co-organizer for Routergods which is the largest Cisco Meetup group which aims to help people get into the field and study for certifications.
