Diligent Breaks Record

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. - Diligent Technologies Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise data protection solutions, today announced that it has reached sustained in-line de-duplication throughput performance of 400MB/s in a customer data center with the introduction of its v1.2.2 release for its ProtecTIER™ disk-based data protection solution. The customer’s environment, consists of ProtecTIER 1.2.2 connected to an HDS AMS 1000, using a mixed data set of database and file system data. ProtecTIER customers utilizing the new release, which is immediately available, can effectively double their sustained throughput on a per node basis to gain maximum performance.
