SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today announced that Ecco Servicios de Personal, S.A de C.V (Adecco Mexico), a leading multi-sector staffing company, is successfully using the Juniper Networks firewall/virtual private network (VPN) appliances to provide a secure network infrastructure across its headquarters and multiple remote offices throughout Mexico. Working with local systems integrator Kneos, Adecco Mexico deployed a solution consisting of the Juniper Networks NetScreen-50 and NetScreen-5GT firewall/VPNs to effectively secure its critical data resources and protect private personnel information.

Adecco Mexico specializes in multi-sector staffing and temporary jobs in Mexico City and other locations throughout Mexico. The company was looking for a solution that could cost-effectively enable authorized users to leverage the Internet as a way to access and share network-based resources remotely without putting the private network and data security at risk.

'The Juniper Networks firewall/VPNs turned out to be exactly what we needed to boost our security,' said Daniel Di Falco, IT manager for Adecco Mexico.'Juniper Networks' security appliances were deployed rapidly, and setting up new policies was extremely easy and saved us valuable time. With Juniper Networks, securing our network was easier than we had expected and our team had more time to work on business-critical projects.'

Located at Adecco's headquarters in Mexico City are the Juniper Networks NetScreen-50s. The NetScreen-50 appliances offer up to 170 megabits-per-second (Mbps) of firewall and up to 50 Mbps of 3DES IPSec VPN performance for Adecco. The Juniper Networks NetScreen-5GTs are located at all of Adecco's remote sites, offering firewall and route based IPSec VPN access for users to corporate headquarters. The NetScreen-5GT offers up to75 Mbps of firewall performance and up to 20 Mbps of 3DES IPSec VPN performance. With embedded antivirus and Deep Inspection firewall protection against the entry of viruses, worms and other network and application-level attacks, the NetScreen-5GT effectively secures Adecco's remote locations.

'As a leader in human resources and staffing services, Adecco Mexico is very committed to the security of its staff and their personnel records,' said Tim Lambie, vice president, Americas International for Juniper Networks. 'By deploying the NetScreen-50 and NetScreen-5GT firewall/VPNs, Adecco Mexico gains the connectivity they require, while ensuring their network and personnel information remains secure. As the recognized market leader in firewall/VPN technology, Juniper is happy to have facilitated this solution.'
