NEC picks LSI MegaRAID SAS for Express5800 servers; RAID functionality integrated into high-speed, intelligent, and secure server solutions

MILPITAS, Calif. -- LSI Corporation (NYSE:LSI) today announced that NEC has selected LSI MegaRAID Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) adapters for integration into NEC’s newest Express5800 series of servers. The newly launched LSI MegaRAID SAS 8708EM2, featuring the LSI SAS1078 RAID-on-Chip (ROC), has been adopted for new NEC rackmount and tower servers, including the Express5800/120Rj-2 and the Express5800/120Rh-1.
