Remote access security provider Tarantella introduced the fourth version of Secure Global Desktop Terminal Services Edition (TSE 4).

TSE 4 capabilities include ticketing, certificate-based server authentication, cross-platform RDP client support, smart DMZ attitude and efficient firewall navigation, Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption and tunneling of RDP and IFS traffic. The version also performs additional connection- and client-group-specific monitoring and generates reports that are accessible from a web-based management console.

A Microsoft executive said that Tarantella's TSE 4 allows Microsoft Terminal Server customers to manage groups of servers and provide access to Windows applications using RDP over all types of networks and from a broad range of client devices.
