Safe Access will fulfill critical health agent, health enforcement, and policy creation roles by offering deeper policy definition, and multiple testing and enforcement options. Using Safe Access in conjunction with the NAC/NAP frameworkhelps customers better realize the full benefits of the combined environment.
"StillSecure Safe Access provides best-of-breed network access control whether deployed in standalone mode or in conjunction with any of the several industry frameworks that it supports," said Andrew Braunberg, Senior Analyst, Current Analysis. Furthermore, Safe Access provides an opportunity to deploy networkaccess control in environments that aren't exclusively based on Cisco and Microsoft by adding inline, endpoint-based, 802.1x, and DHCP methods of enforcement.
"We have been looking forward to Cisco and Microsoft delivering on their
promise of interoperability so that we can show the critical role thatSafe Access can play in the NAC/NAP scenario," said Mitchell Ashley, CTO andVP customer experience of StillSecure. "We are firmly committed tosupporting and enhancing industry-supported frameworks such as NAC, NAP, and the Trusted Computing Group's Trusted Network Connect.
