QLogic Announces Certification

QLogic announced that selected QLogic InfiniBand switches and host channel adapters have been certified

DRESDEN, Germany -- QLogic Corp. (Nasdaq:QLGC), a leadingprovider of networks for storage and high performance computing, todayannounced that selected QLogic InfiniBand switches and host channeladapters (HCAs) have been certified as part of the OpenFabrics AllianceInteroperability Logo Program for InfiniBand and iWARP. A chartermember of the InterOperability program, QLogic is working with othervendors and the University of New Hampshire Interoperability Lab toenable the migration of high performance computing (HPC) from technicalcomputing environments to enterprise IT environments.

The OpenFabrics Alliance sponsors multiple interoperability events eachyear at the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Lab, providingvendors with ongoing opportunities to earn the OFA-UNH-IOL logo fortheir products. The test scenarios are available to the public, as arethe test results for all products that earn the logo.
