Ontrack Data Recovery Debuts PowerControls 2.1

Ontrack Data Recovery is now shipping version 2.1 of its Ontrack PowerControls mailbox-recovery software. The software lets organizations upgrade internal controls to comply with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act governing financial reporting.

According to the company, Ontrack simplifies records management and storage, disaster-recovery controls, and e-mail retention and storage. Additionally, old e-mail records can be copied from an unmounted Microsoft Exchange Server .edb source file onto local drives or into non-e-mail systems using the new export feature.
