ALISO VIEJO, Calif. -- QLogic Corp.(Nasdaq:QLGC), the leader in Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs),stackable switches and blade server switches, today announced therelease of the HP StorageWorks IP Distance Gateway, an intelligentstorage router based on QLogic(r) SANbox(r) 6142 technology. The IPDistance Gateway is fully qualified with HP StorageWorks ContinuousAccess EVA software and HP StorageWorks Business Copy to improve datamanagement and replication for HP StorageWorks XP and EVA arrays. Inaddition, the router offers SAN growth without limitations by utilizingthe company's established IP network to share SAN devices and datareplication services across remote SAN islands.
