Bluesocket Unveils Wireless Gateway For Remote Offices
New gateway enables centralized management of numerous WLANs in remote offices, company says.

WLAN security and management specialist Bluesocket Monday announced a new wireless gateway that it says simplifies centralized management of wireless LANs in remote offices.
The company said in a statement that its WG-400 Wireless Gateway supports as many as eight access points in remote offices and 50 concurrent users. It also enables centralized management of the WLANs in those remote offices, according to the company.
The WG-400 will be available this month starting at $2,250.
The company also announced its BlueView Management System for enterprises that use its wireless gateways. The software provides for policy development and enforcement and centralized configuration of multiple remote WLANs.
