Research In Motion (RIM) said Tuesday that BlackBerry access is now available over the Sprint PCS wireless network.

The access will be available via the Sprint-labeled BlackBerry 7750, the company said. It will provide access to behind-the-firewall e-mail and other personal information managed by Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Domino, with support for Novell GroupWise expected later this year, the company said. The service also enables users to browse the Web via the BlackBerry device.

"Wireless access to email and corporate data is becoming a standard requirement for businesses of all sizes today because of its ability to improve communications, productivity and workflow," Mark Guibert, RIM's vice president of corporate marketing, said in a statement.
