AUSTIN, Texas -- NitroAV SATAStar Series’ again delivers the latest 3G/sec SATA II performance with the most versatile combinations of external/internal ports. The 3-Port PCIe SATAStar is based on Silicon Images (SiI) 3132 chipset with drivers available for the Apple MacOSX, Microsoft Windows, Linux and Novell Netware operating systems. This PCIe host adapter is designed for optimum performance with multiple commands for each port which are loaded into on-chip memory, eliminating the need for host CPU intervention and minimizing PCI bus usage. Command execution engines dramatically reduce latency between commands, ensuring that drives stay fully loaded with queued commands.

Regardless if you are just using this card for hard drive storage or serious digital audio, video or graphics, this card is the perfect solution. The 3-Port PCIe SATAStar host adapter offers incredible bandwidth in a cost effective – low profile solution. Two ports can be configured as individual ports, or as RAID 1, 0, 0+1, RAID 5 or JBOD and Port multiplier compatible.
