Opera Releases Preview Of Windows Mobile Browser

Windows Mobile version of the Opera browser joins versions for the Symbmian OS, Linux and Windows.

Norway's Opera Software Wednesday publicly released a technical preview of a Windows Mobile version of its Opera Browser.

The public technical preview release follows an unannounced technical release of the product last October. Opera claims that its browser is works faster than other browsers for the Windows Mobile platform.

The company said in a statement that the browser supports all major Web standards, such as CSS2, DOM2 and JavaScript. The Opera browser is already available for a variety of other platforms, including Symbian, Windows, Linux and the Mac OS.
