This new offering automates the offsite replication of customer backup data to improve disaster recovery capabilities and is the latest addition to Incentra's portfolio of managed storage services.

EMC Avamar is a global deduplication backup and recovery solution that provides disk-based data protection for customers. The latest addition to Incentra's broad portfolio of outsourcing services, Incentra's Secure Replication Service addresses the up-front cost and ongoing operational challenges associated with offsite data protection.

With the new Secure Replication Service, the customer's backup data is automatically replicated over an encrypted VPN link. Data may be restored over the wire or with HDD media.
